Camp Lael has a lot to offer for private groups. Flexible options are available to accommodate your needs. Options include lodging in our various cabin villages or private cabins, food-service, conference areas, outdoor pavilions, activity areas, woodland trails, and more. Lodging Options

Cabin Villages – There are three villages of camper cabins. Restroom and shower facilities are a short walk away in each village. There are 6 cabins per village that can accommodate up to 12 people. There is also a lodge building in each cabin for group activities.

Private Cabins – Two cabins with separate bunk-style sleeping rooms, living room area, and indoor restroom and shower.

Private Rooms – There are 3 private rooms in the Gary Vanek Activity Center with bunks that sleep up to 4. Restroom and shower are available in the same building.

Waterfront Camping – Limited area is available near the waterfront for trailer and tent camping. Access to power is available at the site. Restroom and shower facilities are within short walking distance. Note: there are no dumping facilities at camp.

Meeting Areas

Dining Hall – This is the primary location for indoor, large-group meetings. Tables and chairs and audio / visual equipment are available. The dining hall can be set up to accommodate up to 180 people.

Gary Vanek Activity Center – A conference room is available in the basement area. The basement is accessible and can hold up to 40 people.

Village Lodges – The lodges are larger cabin-style buildings. There is one lodge in each cabin village.

Chapel – The chapel can be arranged for worship or group meetings.

Outdoor Covered Pavilions – There are two pavilions available for use. Both overlook Dart Lake and have bonfire pits, picnic tables, and campfire benches. The larger of the two has lights, electricity, and a large charcoal grill.

Food Service

Full food service options are available for all groups. Arrangements can also be made for groups to prepare their own meals.
